Perry praises ‘good friend’ Palin

Gov. Rick Perry this afternoon released a statement in response to Sarah Palin’s announcement that she is resigning as Alaska governor.

“Sarah Palin is a good friend and accomplished governor who will continue to be a strong voice of conservatism in American politics,” Perry’s written statement said. “Her state and our country are better off as a result of her tenure as governor and her candidacy for vice president.”

The statement continued: “I expect she will continue to work on the issues facing our country as conservatives strive to undo the damage being done by an out-of-control congress and federal government.”

Forget, please, “conservatism.” It has been, operationally, de facto, Godless and therefore irrelevant. Secular conservatism will not defeat secular liberalism because to God both are two atheistic peas-in-a-pod and thus predestined to failure. As Stonewall Jackson’s Chief of Staff R.L. Dabney said of such a humanistic belief more than 100 years ago:

“[Secular conservatism] is a party which never conserves anything. Its history has been that it demurs to each aggression of the progressive party, and aims to save its credit by a respectable amount of growling, but always acquiesces at last in the innovation. What was the resisted novelty of yesterday is today .one of the accepted principles of conservatism; it is now conservative only in affecting to resist the next innovation, which will tomorrow be forced upon its timidity and will be succeeded by some third revolution; to be denounced and then adopted in its turn. American conservatism is merely the shadow that follows Radicalism as it moves forward towards perdition. It remains behind it, but never ****** it, and always advances near its leader. This pretended salt bath utterly lost its savor: wherewith shall it be salted? Its impotency is not hard, indeed, to explain. It is worthless because it is the conservatism of expediency only, and not of sturdy principle. It intends to risk nothing serious for the sake of the truth.”

Our country is collapsing because we have turned our back on God (Psalm 9:17) and refused to kiss His Son (Psalm 2).

PS – And “Mr. Worldly Wiseman” Rush Limbaugh never made a bigger *** of himself than at CPAC where he told that blasphemous “joke” about himself and God.

“Sarah Palin is a good friend and accomplished governor”

every single Palin “accomplishment” has it’s roots in money from the Federal Govt - or did y’all forget SugarDaddy Ted Stevens ?

no state rec’d more in earmarks per capita than Alaska

oh and that vaunted “Energy Independence” drum she’s beating ? - 80% of the oil from the Alaska pipeline is currently exported to Asia

As an independent, I voted for Barry thinking he was going to bring about positive change for our country. Talk about being duped! Unlike what he claimed to be, he truly is just another politician, and a very bad one at that. Next time though, I’m willing to give Sarah a chance. Is it 2012 yet?

Perry and Palin look like they could be siblings. And their politics are so similar. Was someone switched at birth?

A Perry-Palin friendship makes sense. Our governor recently tried to incite his base with hope of Texas nationhood and Palin’s husband, Todd, had been a member of the Alaska Independence Party for almost seven years. (This political entity’s sole raison d’etre was to free Alaska from the lower forty-eight.) The line between patriot and traitor is a thin one, eh?

Uh oh,…I think Mr. 99% has some doubt about his own manhood. So he does the only thing that will relieve his tension (well, besides looking at men’s magazines) — accusing people of being gay because of their politics. Let’s help Mr. 99% out and tell him it’s o.k. to come out of the closet.

Perry is SOOOO obviously trying to position himself as Palin’s running mate. Doesn’t he know that Bush ruined any Texas Repulsican’s chances of ever getting elected to high office again?

Plus there are skeletons in Perry’s closet. Need we drag them out?

More information on “grassroots” supporters gathering across the nation to support Sarah Palin for President in 2012 can be found online at www.palin4pres2012.com

Note, the website is in danger of crashing due to the flood of readers and supporters signing up to show their interest in a Palin Candidacy. The GOP establishment had better watch out, Sarah Palin and Ron Paul combined with the power of the internet will remove the stranglehold of GOP special interests and the elites who have brought the party to its knees in defeat in the 2008 elections.

Jeff - you’re a *****. The Palin’s deserved what they received because they advertised lies about their beliefs and got caught in their hypocrisy. What is unbelievable is that people like you believed it. Stupid is as stupid does…

Oh Jeeze, Ricky Perry. You’re really dumb. Accomplished governor? Heck, she’s crapping out midstream and can’t even finish it! She’s a light weight “know-it-all”. Have you not paid attention to the comments (& answers) she’s made? This woman can’t even put sentences together that make serious sense…

Remember her foreign experience: “I can see Russia from my back door…”. Perry, don’t diminish anymore, your credibility…

Y’all quit suggesting that Gov Perry slept with Gov Palin … everybody knows Perry’s eye is on the first lady of the state of Alaska, Todd Palin, not to mention Levi Johnson, the cute baby daddy of the Alaska first couple’s grandbasturd out of Bristol.

You moron south paw’s need to look at the lady’s life. She was torn to shreds by the lefty media, her older daughter was torn to shreds, her younger daughter had an alleged comic wish rape upon her and she has a Down’s syndrome child to care for. Politics is one thing, but you people are disgusting filth when it comes to the liberal “compassion” you preach. My guess is that she probably is having severe marital problems, which should make you wieners happy, and she needs a break from politics. Liberals are some of the most disgusting, inhumane, lowlife scum of the earth that the Lord decided to create, for some unknown reason.

Hey, Gov. Perry - she QUIT HER JOB.

Last I looked, quitting after waxing poetic about how capable and awesome you are is not the way to nail down that legacy of “accomplishment”.

She quit. End of story - why is immaterial. The citizens of Alaska trusted her, and she quit.

You admire that? Somehow, I’m not shocked.

Good Lord, is Perry positioning himself as a running mate? Or for a Cabinet position. He would be great on her ticket—they would have one brain between the two of them. Sarah Palin is one of the few politicals who makes W sound coherent, suave and articulate!
