Mike, a self-professed business news junkie, joined the News-Journal staff in March 1984 and has covered a variety of issues, events and personalities in that time. His newspaper career has also included time as circulation director and a community newspaper publisher. He and his wife Nancy raised their three children in Longview and they have two grandchildren.

Henderson health care job fair set

Autumn Leaves Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is getting close to opening in Henderson at 321 Kilgore Drive, just off of U.S. 259. The 125-bed facility will be hosting a job fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, May 16. The 68,000-square-foot facility sits on a 10-acre tract.
