From Geek to Chic
All of the dances seem to have a theme of their own. Keeton and Abby are playing geeks….who just act silly. Alicia and Randy are detective and mystery woman…Theresa and Bob are zoot suiters…Stephanie and Danny are 40’s clubber and singer…Colten and Becky are lindy hoppin…Jarred and Noelquis are hip hop salsa dancers… and Bart and Stacey are moulin rouge…and Kerry and I are zorro-ing!!!
These are going to make things difficult for the judges!! competitions are just beginning between everyone!! Longview news journal editorial and their circulation department are competing to win as it is!! Kerry and I aren’t doing so hot on the polls…. VOTE VOTE VOTE for us!!!!!!

Hey, By now you have heard what everybody’s theme is for their dances, so you probably know that Abby and I are playing geeks. We can’t get through the entire dance without laughing at ourselves half the time. It almost comes natural to both of us since we both were born geeky kids. The time that we spend together is full of laughter and hard work. So if you want to see a pair that has fun and works hard you should go on and vote for us…Please Vote!!

There is some competition between the editorial and circulation staff, or so I’ve been told. I hope Kerry is having better luck getting his co-workers to vote than I am! A lot of people in editorial keep forgetting until I remind them.
Most of my support has been coming from family, friends, friends of friends and friends of friends of friends. My roommate has become a dedicated campaigner, too. She knows a lot of people I don’t.
I wish you guys luck!

This is Stephanie’s mom. Stephanie is a beautiful girl inside and out. She is fun to be with and her joy for life shines through her wherever she goes. I am so proud of her and want her to know I am rooting for her. My favorite job in this life has been being her mom. I am blessed and proud to have her for a daughter. “Have fun Chickie and go for it!” Love, mom

Okay, I’m not sure that Longview is going to be ready for the new, updated cool breeze known as Bob Hallmark! He is going to be decked out…dressed to kill…knock’em dead cool! He and his partner Theresa Kerr are jiving to “Zoot Suit Riot”!
While the stars are taking care of business with the dancing … I am scurrying around picking out costuming. It is a blast! Can’t wait for the community to see our stars shine on the 29th!
Our street smart private eye, Randy Ross, will be out to save the mysterious damsel in distress! Alicia Taylor, said damsel, will fit the bill as the long, tall, mysterious “face”.
Kerry Hill, our resident Zorro, will be slashing his way through the competition as he and partner, Carmen Garza, paso their way into the hearts of the audience.
Danny Sullivan, why don’t you do right? Hmmm, you will have to see the show to catch up on that! Danny and his partner, Stephanie Raffray, will foxtrot in their cabaret setting … “Play it again, Sam!”
Stacy Stroud and her partner, Bartolo Aguilar, will strut their stuff on the streets of New Orleans … cha cha cha baby!
Abby Eden and Keeton Perry will bring back memories of those good old fashioned school dayz …. reading, and writing and rithmetic … taught to the tune of … What? Good Golly Miss Molly!
Noelquis Rodrigues and Jarred Heath will set the streets on fire with their spicy samba combo to “Drop it on Me”.
Judge Becky Simpson and Colton Sanders are laying down the law with their Lindy Hop to “Jump, Jive, and Wail”. Here come da Judge!
As you can see … life is interesting around PTHS! We have had a blast during practices and on our shopping jaunts. We hope that everyone will come and share the fun and laughter on March 29th.

There is definitely something up with the voting for the top 2 teams! I doubt they both have that big of a fan base to jump thousands of votes in one night!!!
