Willow Bend unable to find new home after city support dwindled
Not much has changed for the residents of Willow Bend in the past year, Administrator Shane Harrold said.
That’s a far cry from the plans Harrold and the nonprofit agency’s board of directors had for the facility in August 2007. Willow Bend is a residential facility for children in the custody of the state’s Child Protective Services and who have problems too severe for them to function in a typical foster care environment, he said.
