Longview schools open new day care

Longview Independent School District’s newest campus is educating kids a little younger than the traditional public school setting.

District officials now oversee Playing for Keeps, a center that provides preschool-aged child care for Longview ISD employees. It opened Aug. 18 — six days after being permitted by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.
