Davis hits the big time
Had to wrestle my Sports Illustrated away from my lovely wife this week since it featured a half-naked Michael Phelps wearing what looks to be nothing but his eight Olympic gold swimming medals on the cover. On a positive note, at least she will not give me such a hard time in February when my swimsuit issue arrives.
Inside, we see that Longview’s Chris Davis has hit the big time. He is one of three athletes (joining Redskins runningback Marcus Mason and Jaguars defensive end Mkristo Bruce) featured in the Pop Culture Grid on page 26 of the magazine.
In that feature, athletes are asked questions and they fill in the blanks.
Questions, along with Davis’ answers were:

Some day I will have to get the story about the grilled tofu.
