Ladynecks headed to San Marcos
FROM STAFF REPORTS TYLER — The White Oak Ladynecks are heading to the University Interscholastic League State Volleyball Tournament for the second time in three seasons. The No. 1 ranked Ladynecks continued a perfect season today, knocking off No. 2 Centerville, 25-20, 25-14, 25-21, in the Class 2A Region III regional championship match at UT-Tyler’s Herrington Patriot Center. White Oak (44-0), a state finalist two years ago, lost to Centerville last season in four sets in the regional championship match. Pairings for the UIL State Tournament will be released on Sunday. White Oak will either play at 1 or 3 p.m. on Thursday in San Marcos.
