"I would find out why we continue to buy foreign oil when we have our own resources right here in our own back doors. This fuel escalation is really hurting our country. How are people making minumum wage supposed to get to their place of employment when they can’t even afford gas to get there?"
Cynthia Adams, Longview

"If I were elected president I would not allow anyone under 25 years old to get a credit card because all it would do is cause the person to be more financially in debt later on in life."
Desiree Carrillo, Longview

"I would make health care available to everyone. There are so many people in the United States that don’t get the health care they need because their employers don’t offer coverage. For the elderly, they simply have to make a choice between whether they want medication or the want to put food in their stomachs. We live in the richest country in the world, so we should take better care of our people!"
Pam Gardner, Longview

"First off, this keeping religion and state separate would be over, prayer would be back in school -- before congressional meetings and any other decision. Then I’d deal with this economy: the gas prices, foreclosures, etc. Also, the War would be over! All troups would be home within seven days. And last, I’d stop helping other countries and help our own millions of Americans that need help."
Tamara Alex, Gladewater
