"Kate is an ambitious chef, with the skills and talents needed to succeed in a competitive world of first-class cuisine. Kate's perfectionist attitude is the driving force behind her desire to succeed and the root of what denies her happiness. While a tragic situation sets in motion a turn of events that impacts Kate's life, it also magnifies the lack of preparedness people feel when dealing with unfamiliar territory. While trying to sort through the changes in her life a new man arrives in town -- ready to take on the world, or, in Kate's mind, her kitchen. From the moment Nick walks in, the lines are drawn, the egos take over, and the co-workers are in divided territory. His antics and charming personality have her teetering on the edge emotionally, but it's his sense of humor and laid back manner that wins friends and influences people. The friendship moves both toward a point where reflection about life choices and priorities are most important when it comes to those you care about. In the end you realize it's not what happens to you, but how you handle a situation that makes the difference."

"Most women thoroughly enjoy curling up with a classic 'feel good' movie. 'Regarding Henry' with Harrison Ford and Annette Bening is one of those movies. As a result of an unfortunate accident, Henry loses his memory. Through the tribulations of his recovery, he discovers his life was previously not what it should have been. This tells a beautiful story of values, morals and love."

"The movie Music and Lyrics is a comedy about Alex (Hugh Grant), a 1980's pop-star trying to revive his career. He recruits Sophie (Drew Barrymore), his plant-waterer, to help him write a hit song. As they make music, Alex and Sophie fall in love and learn about being true to themselves. I liked this cute movie because it has a great message about not compromising who you are to please other people."
