"I am absolutely scared to death for people to touch my neck. For some reason it makes me feel like I am being threatened and triggers a 'freak out!’ response!"

"I fear spiders, snakes and death. I also fear failing as a parent. I have an 8-year-old and an 11-year-old. It’s hard in the world today to raise them right. I want to bring them up in a good environment and help them be successful in life."
Cyndi Leal, Kilgore

"One of my biggest phobias is camping. I know that sounds weird, but the whole thing scares me. I am afraid of snakes and spiders in my tent, sleeping on the ground and having to go to the bathroom in the woods. The whole thing makes my skin crawl. It just isn’t natural. I need a bed and indoor plumbing."
Amanda Wood, Kilgore

"Like many other women I’m sure, I am scared to death of snakes and spiders. I guess the idea of snakes slithering around and hissing and spiders crawling all over me ... just thinking about them. Yuck!"
Lydia Quintanilla, Longview

"I used to have a fear of meeting new people and speaking in public. I’ve gotten more used to it, though, because today I sing professionally for churches and events in the community. I still get a little nervous when I stand up in front of a large crowd, but I know God blessed me with this voice, and this is the ministry I was called to."
Tyshonne Skinner, Longview
