Love Comes Softly, Rated PG

"This is a wonderful story for the whole family. It begins with a young couple who marries and heads out on a journey to start a life of their own. A few days after being married, something unthinkable happens and the wife is left to make some hard decisions. Starting over as a widow, she is faced with challenges that seem insurmountable. This movie is a must-see and will deeply touch your emotions and teach you that in great loss life can be restored."

The Perfect Getaway, Rated R

"This was a suspense thriller, and it reminded me of the old board game 'Clue.' It's about a newlywed couple on their honeymoon to Hawaii. Upon arrival, they find out that a newlywed couple was murdered on the island. While on a hiking excursion, they find out about the murders. It's not a horror film, but it's scary like one, and it keeps you jumping. The title itself is ironic because it's the perfect getaway to Hawaii, but it's also a perfect place to commit a murder and 'get away' with it. You be the judge of that. There was not a dull moment in any part of this movie!"

Reality Bites, Rated PG-13

"In this movie, a young woman named Lelaina and her three closest friends are in search of meaning (and jobs) following college graduation. Lelaina quickly finds herself involved in a love triangle with Michael, a yuppie executive who works at an MTV-like television station, and Troy, a close friend and a typical slacker with seemingly no ambition. She must decide whether to keep dating reliable Michael or try to make it work with the mysterious, troubled Troy. 'Reality Bites' is a funny, sad and insightful flick which makes it one of my absolute favorites."

One in a Million by Kimberla Lawson Roby

"Kennedi Mason is a young woman who has it all -- a great job, a loving and supportive husband of 10 years and a wonderful best friend. After reading the newspaper, she finds out she's won the Mega Million jackpot lottery worth $50 million. As she gets ready to tell her husband the good news, he tells her that he doesn’t love her anymore and he’s moving out because he's in love with the woman he’s been having an affair with for the past two years. This book is explosive and full of energy! Once you pick it up you won’t put it down until you are finished. The book ended too soon and left me wanting more."

Love and Respect by Dr. Emerson Eggerichs

" This book was absolutely on the mark! It’s truly a ‘must read’ for women as well as men. There are several marriage books in stores, but this one rises above the rest. Dr. Emerson Eggerichs gives advice and wisdom that I believe could save many marriages today. I laughed, cried and have recommended this book to friends. We all know that harmony and happiness in a marriage is not achieved by love alone. It helps us all to understand each other better, and it makes the home a happier place!"

Home Always Beckons: A New Sunrise by Lana Lynne

"I was instantly drawn into the story by the beautiful portrait that Lana Lynne depicts about three friends returning from war and their difficult journey home. This is a very touching story. When they arrive home they find they have to continue with emotional battles within their war-torn families. This book has it all: romance, adventure and many touching moments. The newly published author is able to paint a very vivid picture of postwar Arkansas. You will feel yourself relating to many of the characters. Whether you live near home or far away, this book will bring back fond memories of home no matter what your age. I read this book because I know the author; I will reread this book because I love the story."
Dana Mizell, White Oak
