Daingerfield Lady Tigers’ young team was no match for the Hughes Springs Lady Mustangs at a game on the hardwood Jan. 17.

The Lady Mustangs easily took the lead and kept it, ending up with a final score of 46-23 in the District 19-2A game. The Lady Mustangs led 23 to 13 at halftime, and outscored the Lady Tigers 19-2 in the third quarter. ShaSha Ransom finished with 14 points and 12 rebounds for the Lady Mustangs, while A’Lexus Peppers chipped in 10 points for Hughes Springs. Linzy Larsen chipped in 6 points for the Lady Mustangs, while LuQuarious Frazier added 6 points.

DeAndra Hanson netted 8 points for the Lady Tigers. LuQuarious Frazier chipped in with 6 points and Gloria Rodriguez added 5 points.
