Tournament host Tatum will face a pair of Class 3A teams today to open play in the annual Tatum Holiday Hoops Showcase.
The 12-team event will continue on Friday and conclude on Saturday, with games being played at Eagle Coliseum and the high school gymnasium.
A total of 12 games are on tap today — eight at the coliseum and four at the high school gymnasium. Pool play continues early Friday with three games at each site, and bracket play tips off later in the evening on Friday.
Today’s schedule at Eagle Coliseum has Tatum vs. Atlanta at 9 a.m., followed by Poolville vs. Henderson at 10:30 a.m., Daingerfield vs. Martin’s Mill at noon, Jacksonville vs. Hallsville at 1:30 p.m., Henderson vs. Tatum at 3, Marshall vs. Pleasant Grove at 4:30, Martin’s Mill vs. Jacksonville at 6 and Brook Hill vs. Marshall at 7:30 p.m.
At the high school gym today, it’s Atlanta vs. Poolville at 3 p.m., New Boston vs. Brook Hill at 4:30, Hallsville vs. Daingerfield at 6 and Pleasant Grove at New Boston at 7:30 p.m.
In pool play on Friday at the coliseum, it’s Tatum vs. Poolville at 9 a.m., Daingerfield vs. Jacksonville at 10:30 and New Boston vs. Marshall at noon. Atlanta meets Henderson at 9 a.m., followed by Hallsville vs. Martin’s Mill at 10:30 and Pleasant Grove at Brook Hill at noon at the high school gymnasiium.
Bracket play games are scheduled for 2:30, 4, 6 and 7:30 p.m. at the coliseum on Friday.
The championship games are set for 4:30 (silver bracket) and 6 p.m. (gold bracket) at the coliseum on Saturday.
