Race relations one of many causes for this volunteer
I volunteer for: Several different groups, including: the Community Out-Reach Mission, Longview Community Men, Unity in the Community, Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Committee, Vision 2015, Longview Habitat For Humanity, Longview Area Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance, Hallsville Ministerial Alliance, East Mount Olive District Association and Texas Educational Baptist State Convention.
Couple inducted into Longview Symphony League Hall of Fame
When he was president of the Longview Symphony League (1999-2002), Morgan L. Willeford and board member Hazel Hickey brought into fruition the Hall of Fame for leaguers particularly worthy of note. On Saturday, Willeford and his wife, Alma Ruth, were inducted into that Hall of Fame.
