- Charles Eric Henderson, 25, of Longview remained jailed Thursday on $15,000 bond, charged with burglary of a habitation. According to an arrest report, Longview police responded Wednesday to a burglary in the 800 block of Owings Street and arrested Henderson and a juvenile after a short chase. The juvenile was taken to the county's juvenile detention center.
- Kyndia Linese Henderson, 23, of Marshall was released from jail Thursday on $2,500 bond, charged with forgery. According to an arrest report, a Longview police officer responded Wednesday to Albertson's on McCann Road, where store personnel said Henderson tried to cash a forged money order at the store.
- Earl Everett Zimmerman, 49, of Longview remained jailed Thursday on $16,000 bond, charged with felony driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana and driving without a license. Zimmerman also had warrants for his arrest for driving while intoxicated and unsafe driving. According to an arrest report, a Longview police officer responded Wednesday to a hit-and-run wreck at the intersection of East Marshall Avenue and Eastman Road. A witness reported following a truck that hit a parked vehicle. The officer stopped the truck, and the driver, Zimmerman, appeared to be intoxicated. The officer found open cans of beer and a bag of suspected marijuana in the truck. Zimmerman had a suspended driver's license from a driving while intoxicated conviction.
- Rodrick Ladale George, 29, of Longview remained jailed Thursday on $5,000 bond, charged under the family violence code with assault by strangulation. According to an arrest report, a woman who is four months pregnant said she and her boyfriend, George, got into a fight and he began strangling her. George said his girlfirend was slapping him and trying to hit him, causing him to grab her neck to hold her back, the report said. The incident happened in the 700 block of Golfcrest Drive.

Calls for service
Longview police arrested 10 people Wednesday, including three juveniles. The department dispatched officers to 181 calls for service. The top reasons were:
- Follow up, 16 calls, 8.84 percent
- Alarm business, 15 calls, 8.29 percent
- Theft already occurred, 10 calls, 5.52 percent
