Constable’s Report: Feb. 12-19

On 2/19/2012, Keith Huddleston of 23707 reported that his unlocked shop had been entered without his permission and several sets of hand tools were taken. Stolen was a Milwaukee brand battery operated tool set with a 3/8 inch impact wrench with a flashlight, drill and drill bits, and a set of sockets valued at $750. A set of Matco brand drill bits valued at $280 and a black Milwaukee brand tool bag with miscellaneous hand tools valued at $380.

Council hears builder presentation for another senior living facility

During their regular monthly meeting last week (Feb. 7) at city hall, Lindale City Council members heard of plans to build another low-income, independent senior living facility which would require grants from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs.

New LISD softball field dedicated

State raises speed limit on Lindale portion of I-20

At its regular monthly meeting last week the Texas Transportation Commission approved an increase of the speed limit on sections of Interstate 20 from 70 mph to 75, which will be in effect on the stretch of I-20 running through Lindale.

County pays $20,000 in constable lawsuit
