Upshur County judge sentences 10 people

Carole Cammack Tunello, 47, of Pritchett was among 10 people sentenced in the 115th District Court with Judge Lauren Parish presiding. Tunello received a two-year jail sentence and five years probation for the delivery of a controlled substance believed to be methamphetamine.
The other sentences were:
■ Aaron David McWhorter, 24, of Gilmer, was sentenced to 15 months in jail for forgery of a financial instrument;
■ Jason Kyle Cooper, 26, of Tyler, was sentenced to 20 months in jail for evading arrest with a vehicle;
■ Haley Rae Rudd, 24, of Hot Springs, Ark, was sentenced to 15 months in jail for possession of a controlled substance believed to be methamphetamine;
■ Mercelo Diaz, 34, of East Mountain, was sentenced to seven months in jail for theft of a firearm;
■ William Tye Dozier, 25, of Gilmer, was sentenced to two years in jail and four months of probation for delivery of a controlled substance;
■ Bobbie Renee Wagner, 29, of Gilmer, was sentenced to one year of deferred adjudication for criminal mischief;
■ Virginia Jackson McPeek, 47, of Gilmer, was sentenced to three years deferred adjudication for possession of a controlled substance believed to be methamphetamine;
■ Rayenell Underwood, 41, of Ore City, was sentenced to four years deferred adjudication for having a prohibited substance and items in a correctional facility;
■ Saundra Ann Quarles, 35, of Gilmer, was sentenced to five years deferred adjudication for debit card abuse.
