Gregg County grand jury issues 22 indictments

A 20-year-old Longview man accused of having sex with a 13-year-old girl dozens of times at her South Longview home was among 22 indictments handed down in the 124th District Court this week.
According to arrest reports, Cheyenne Thomas of Longview admitted to having sex with a 13-year-old girl on at least two dozen occasions at the girl's home in Sept. 2010. Thomas remained jailed on bonds totaling $123,500.
Among the indictments, five were sealed because no arrest had been made at the time of indictment.
The other indictments are:
Paula Marie Hensley, 24, of Kilgore, forgery.
Kim Edward Johnson, 48, of Longview, forgery.
Lacedric Wilcott, 33, of Gladewater, burglary of a habitation.
Christopher Robinson, 33, of Gilmer, theft by worthless check.
Heather Blanche Valdez, 38, of Longview, prostitution, third or more.
Keenon Winn Pegues, 25, of Longview, evading arrest with a vehicle.
Henry Lee Givens, 34, of Longview, unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Edward Dewitt Reese, 51, of Longview, habitual theft.
Nicholas Joel Starr, 29, of Big Sandy, theft of property valued between $1,500 and $20,000 and evading arrest with a vehicle.
Travis Wayne Anderson, 19, of Longview, debit card abuse.
Ramon Villegas Castro, 27, of Longview, driving while intoxicated, third or more.
Marvin Wayne Dunn, 49, of Longview, debit card abuse.
Michael Anthony Mercurio, 53, of Kilgore, possession of a controlled substance.
Christopher Carl Lindsay, 40, of Longview, possession of a controlled substance.
Jennifer Lilly, 29, of Longview, abandoning/endangering a child.
Kevin Scott Smith, 35, of Tyler, aggravated assault of a public servant and evading arrest with a vehicle.
