From Staff Reports
April 20, 2012 at 4:25 a.m.

Police are looking for a suspect who they say stole chainsaws from a Longview business.

Officers were dispatched at about 2 a.m. Wednesday to a business in the 3700 block of South Eastman Road, according to a news release. Upon arrival, the officers found a glass door that had been shattered.

The owner of the business said three chainsaws were missing.

Police believe the suspect has previously burglarized the business.

At the time, the suspect was wearing a camouflage cap, a blue short-sleeved t-shirt and black shorts with red and white vertical stripes.

Police say the suspect might be driving a light-colored four-door passenger car with spoke wheels, black door handles and fog lamps.

The vehicle has a large antenna on the left side of the trunk.

Anyone with information about the suspect can call Detective Fred Runnels at (903) 237-1199 or Gregg County CrimeStoppers at (903) 236-7867.
