Suspects in Gammage murder face Upshur County judge

Two of the suspects accused in the killing of Ronnie Joe Gammage faced an Upshur Court judge Friday.
Sarah Haslam, 20, and Daniel Jones, 19, were arraigned in the 115th District Court in Gilmer after being transferred to the Upshur County Jail from the Gregg County Jail on Thursday.
Both Haslam and Jones appeared with their attorneys to hear their charges and their rights.
During Jones' arraignment District Judge Lauren Parish said, "The prosecution will be seeking the death penalty," but after the arraignment Upshur County District Attorney again reiterated that the decision had not yet been reached.
The third suspect in the case, Andrew Norwine, has signed a waiver of extradition and will be taken from the Vernon Parish Jail is Louisiana to the Upshur County Jail in upcoming days.
