Police arrest two for assault, family violence

Quintus Wilson, 33, of Daingerfield, was arrested April 18 and charged with assault, family violence, impeding breath, according to Daingerfield Police Sgt. Tracey Climer.
"We received a call of a disturbance at a residence and upon arrival, a couple of witnesses and a 16-year-old victim reported the assault," Sgt. Climer said. "The 16-year-old reported being choked. Officer Amanda Solis arrested Mr. Wilson."
Sgt. Climer reported on April 21 Officer T.J. Frazier received a call about a disturbance at a residence in Daingerfield.
"When Officer Frazier arrived, there was a 24-year-old victim reporting that Grant Bauer, 22, of Hughes Springs, had assaulted and choked her," Sgt. Climer said. "Officer Frazier arrested Mr. Bauer and charged him with assault, family violence, impeding breath."
Assault, family violence is a third degree felony punishable by a fine of up to $10,000 and two to 10 years in prison.
