Police identify victim in overnight shooting as Kilgore man

A Kilgore man was killed and three other people injured in a Tuesday night shooting at a south Longview apartment complex.
The victim was identified by Longview police as Deaundray Lamanze Rossum, 23. He was found inside a vehicle, dead of an apparent gunshot wound.
The shooting occurred near an apartment complex in the 2900 block of Signal Hill Drive, near the intersection of South Loop 281 and Estes Parkway. A second victim was found in an apartment, having suffered several gunshot wounds.
Police have so far declined to release any information about the alleged shooter or identity of other victims.
Fire Marshal Johnny Zackary confirmed this morning one person was dead at the scene, and one was transported by fire department ambulance to Good Shepherd Medical Center. Two other victims apparently were taken to hospital by private ambulance. No information was available on victims' conditions at noon.
Authorities received a report of the shooting at 9:54 p.m., according to Longview police spokeswoman Kristie Brian.
