Wood County Sheriff's Report: Sept. 20-27

<strong>Sept. 20</strong> - Deputy Josh O'Grady was dispatched to FM 515 and FM 17 public boat ramp in reference to the burglary of a white 2010 Ford F-150. The victim advised that unknown suspect (s) stole his Droid T-Mobile Galaxy 4 cell phone, black Acer Aspire laptop with mouse, three duffle bags with clothing some of the shirts taken have "Team Trinkle" on them. The suspect gained entry into the vehicle by breaking the driver's side window. This case is under investigation.

<strong>Sept. 22</strong> - Deputy Chris Turner was dispatched to the Holiday Village boat ramp in the Quitman area in reference to criminal mischief. The victim advised that unknown suspect (s) damaged his Falcon and Zebco reels. This case is under investigation.

Deputy J W Williams was dispatched to the 1000 block of CR 3440 in the Hawkins area in reference to theft of two RV Power cords valued at $100.00. This case is under investigation.

Deputy Chris Bettis was dispatched to CR 4580 south of FM 2088 in the Winnsboro area in reference to theft. The victim advised that a three point rake, red seeder and a red Massey-Ferguson hay bailer were stolen. This case is under investigation.

Deputy Stephen Cates was dispatched to CR 4750 in the Winnsboro area in reference to burglary of a building. The victim advised that unknown suspect (s) stole his red & black 2000 Polaris Sportsman 500 four wheeler, silver Craftsman Wood chipper with 6 hp Briggs & Stratton motor, orange Husqvarna self propelled push lawn mower with a Honda motor, 20 foot chain, Primus game camera and two red five gallon gas cans all valued at $3,210.00. This case is under investigation.

<strong>Sept. 24</strong> - Deputy Rusty Owens was dispatched to the 3800 block of Highway 154 East in the Quitman area in reference to the theft of 100 feet of copper wire. This case is under investigation.

Deputy Brad Armendariz observed a vehicle traveling with a defective license plate light. Upon making contact with the driver information was ascertained that the driver's license was invalid. Jacob Brice Hester, 20, of Grand Saline was placed under arrest for Driving While License Invalid.

<strong>Sept. 25</strong>- Deputy Donivan South was dispatched to the 200 block of CR 2430 in the Mineola area in reference to theft. The victim advised that letters were stolen off of a brick wall. The letters are valued at $1,000.00. This case is under investigation.
