Hallsville Western Days and Fort Crawford Civil War Weekend, Western Days begins with a street dance at 7 tonight at the Hallsville City Park and continues Saturday with a parade at 10 a.m. beginning at North Elementary School. Food and arts and crafts vendors will be on hand Saturday in downtown Hallsville. Miss Hallville pageant, 7 p.m. Saturday at the Hallsville High School auditorium; admission: $7 for adults and $5 for children. Fort Crawford Civil War Weekend is at Maple Springs Farm, Quail Lane off FM 968, $5 admission, gates open at 9 a.m. today; chili cook-off registration today.
