Former Daingerfield Tiger Anquanius "Huggie" Frazier has signed a professional arena football contract with former Dallas Arena team Allen Wranglers, now named the Texas Revolution, based in Allen. Former Notre Dame standout and Oakland Raider Hall of Famer Tim Brown is the general manager of the team.
"I had a chance to play with former Hall of Fame standout Terrell Owens with the Allen Wranglers last season in the Arena League," Frazier said. "We start camp in mid-February and the season kicks off March 1."
The 2005 graduate of Daingerfield High School played quarterback for the Tigers. He attended Tyler Junior College from 2005-06 where he was a two-time All American. He went on to East Texas Baptist University from 2007-08. Frazier was American Southwest Conference defensive back two years running with the Wranglers in 2011 and 2012.
Frazier is the son of Lawana Frazier and Allen Mims Sr. of Lone Star and the nephew of David Mims who played for the Atlanta Falcons.
