He said it

Wood: "Our kids have been pretty grounded throughout the whole season. We've talked a lot about playing one game at a time and focusing on each opponent, then evaluating and looking back at the end of the year. All we're focused on this week is trying to play a good football game at Chapel Hill … The biggest thing is Chapel Hill has so many kids that have so much speed. They can turn it into a perimeter game in a hurry. You try to contain that and keep them from getting to the sideline. Their quarterback can operate out of the gun and run. It'll be a challenge to defend all the weapons they have … They've played a lot of different kids on defense … We settled down and took care of the football in the second half (against Gladewater) … (Aaron) Foy's been playing better each week and we've been able to get some balls to him."

Did you know: Receiver Aaron Foy caught three passes for 129 yards and two touchdowns from 86 and 30 yards in Kilgore's 35-8 win against Gladewater.
