Two men remained jailed Tuesday afternoon after police say they found "shards" of methamphetamines during a traffic stop in Kilgore.
Danny Ray Bentle, 50, of Kilgore and Morris Leon Wilson, 52, of White Oak were arrested Monday afternoon after police realized Bentle had just left a "known drug house," according to a probable cause affidavit filed with Gregg County Pct. 1 Justice of the Peace B.H. Jameson.
Dispatch informed the officer that Bentle, the truck's registered owner, had an expired driver's license.
The officer found pieces of meth inside a beer can after Bentle consented to have his truck searched, the affidavit said.
