A Kilgore man remained behind bars Monday morning under bonds totaling $160,000 after what started as a response to criminal trespass call.
Roman Roberson, assistant chief of the Kilgore Police Department, said officers were dispatched about 3:30 p.m. Friday to the 3500 block of Cedar Street where they found Gerald Hosea Gibson.
Officers searched Gibson after they found he had a warrant for possession of a controlled substance, Roberson said.
"The officers also found he had three checks belonging to other folks," Roberson said.
Gibson is being held in the Gregg County Jail on three charges of fraudulent use/possession of identifying information and a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
