Two-Minute Drill: Lobo fan bus info, more

<strong>FAN BUS AVAILABLE:</strong> A fan bus will be available to take Longview Lobo football fans to the team's Class 5A area playoff game against McKinney Boyd on Saturday.

The game is scheduled for 4 p.m. Saturday at Wildcat-Ram Stadium in Dallas.

The bus will load at the guard shack at Longview High School. Cost to ride the bus is $35 (does not include game ticket).

Game tickets and sign-up for the bus will be available at the LISD Athletic Office beginning today.

<strong>LETU HELP WANTED:</strong> LeTourneau University is looking for a few good people to help fill some paid positions available for game duties such as the scorebook, timer and shot clock operator for the upcoming basketball season.

<strong>BASEBALL CAMP:</strong> Thomas hitting academy will hold a two-day Thanksgiving Baseball Camp from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Nov. 25-26.

Drills consist of hitting, pitching and fielding with afternoon scrimmages. Lunch will be served.

The camp is open to ages 6-14.

<strong>SOFTBALL CLINIC:</strong> The Triple Threat Softball Clinic is returning to Longview Jan. 18-19 at the Longview High School indoor practice facility.

The clinic is for girls ages 8-18, and it will be hosted by USA Olympic women's softball team medalists Kelly Kretschman and Caitlin Lowe with special guests Megan Willis from the University of texas and Keilani Ricketts from the University of Oklahoma.

Fee for the two-day clinicis $175 per person or $150 per person involved with a team (minimum of 8 for the team discount) if registered by Dec. 31 and $200 per person from Jan. 2-14.

The fee includes both days of the clinic, a T-shirt, lunch on Saturday and Sunday and banquet dinner (parents and guests will be required to play for their own meals at the banquet).

<strong>GOBBLE WOBBLE SET:</strong> The ninth annual Gobble Wobble Walk/Run/Wobble 1-mile, 5K and 10K is set for Saturday at the Paul Boorman Trail (beginning at Loop 281 across from Austin Bank.

Registration is set for 8:30 a.m., and the race begins at 9 a.m..

There is no registration fee, but donations will be accepted to benefit Newgate Mission.
