Mild weather forecast in Texas on Friday

Mild temperatures and sunny skies were expected across Texas, according to the National Weather Service.
In northern Texas, skies were expected to be sunny with highs near 80 and overnight lows in the upper 50s.
In the Panhandle, winds could reach 25 mph around Amarillo with highs near 80 and lows in the mid-40s.
A similar forecast was given for central Texas with highs near 80 and overnight lows in the upper 50s. Fog was possible around San Antonio in the morning, but skies should be sunny otherwise.
Sunny skies were also expected along the Gulf Coast and in western Texas.
Highs near 80 were forecast around Houston with overnight lows in the mid-50s. Temperatures could range from the upper 70s to 50 around El Paso.
