Light Up A Life is the largest annual fundraiser for The Hospice of East Texas, a nonprofit, community-based organization. Proceeds from Light Up A Life enable Hospice of East Texas to provide exceptional end-of-life care to patients and their families throughout East Texas.
A donation of $10 or more represents a light on the Hospice Tree in memory or in honor of a loved one.
Donations may be made throughout the holiday season by mail or by secure online donations at www.hospiceofeasttexas.org.
The Hospice of East Texas Tree Lighting ceremonies will be in 10 locations throughout its service area during the next two weeks.

Mineola: Thursday, 6 p.m., City Gazebo, Downtown Mineola
Henderson: Tuesday, Dec. 7, 6:30 p.m., Rusk County, Courthouse Lawn, 115 N. Main
Hawkins: Tuesday, Dec. 7, 6 p.m, Hawkins Senior, Community Center, Presented by the Hawkins Study Club
Palestine: Tuesday, Dec. 7, 6 p.m., Reagan Park
Athens: Thursday, Dec. 9, 6 p.m., First Methodist Church
Marshall: Thursday, Dec. 9, 6 p.m., Weisman Hirsch Beil Home, 313 S. Washington

Hospice of East Texas has been caring for patients with life-limiting illnesses since 1982.
As one of the region’s few nonprofit hospices, The Hospice of East Texas serves patients and families in need of services, regardless of their ability to pay.
