Gregg County Jail

Juan Manuel Resendiz, 33, of Longview remained jailed Sunday on $5,000 bond, charged with assault and family violence with a previous conviction. According to police reports, Resendiz was arrested about 2:15 a.m. Sunday at his home in the 1300 block Lawndale Avenue.

Michael Edward Murphy, 23, of Longview remained jailed Sunday on bonds totaling $11,000, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and criminal mischief. According to police reports, Murphy was arrested about 1:20 a.m. Sunday at American Legion in the 300 block of American Legion Boulevard.

Ricky Lynn Murphy, 20, of Longview remained jailed Sunday on $10,000 bond, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. According to police reports, Murphy was arrested about 1:20 a.m. Sunday at American Legion in the 300 block of American Legion Boulevard.

Robert Johann Sloan, 34, of Stonewall, Miss., remained jailed Sunday on bonds totaling $4,500, charged with possession of a controlled substance with an outstanding Upshur County warrant for possession of marijuana. According to arrest reports, Sloan was arrested about 11:45 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of Clyatt and Rowe streets.

Keir Jacques Harris, 40, of Gilmer remained jailed Sunday on bonds totaling $55,000, charged with evading arrest with two outstanding Longview Police Department warrants for burglary of a building. According to police reports, Harris was arrested about 10:30 p.m. Saturday in the 2000 block of East Marshall Avenue.
