A Longview man was arrested Thursday after officers responded to an alarm call and saw a man carrying a boat radio.
Police arrested Guadalupe Guillermo Hinojos, 42, after responding before midnight to a business in the 1700 block of Whaley Street.
A man, later identified as Hinojos, was inside a secured area containing boats and had a radio that appeared to be from one of the boats, according to a Longview Police Department news release.
Hinojos was identified from jail records after giving police a fake name.
He is being held in the Gregg County Jail, charged with theft.

No one ever "stole" a job from anyone. I am trying to picture someone holding a gun on me and saying, "Give me your yob." It seems to me the real criminals are those who hire illegals. Pass E-verify and enforce it with heavy fines and criminal charges. Punish them severely enough and you will see the flow of illegals dry up. Punishing contractors and businesses will be a whole lot easier and cheaper than building some sort of fence and paying armed guards and making ourselves look like post-war Berlin.
The problem is that most Americans are not willing to work physical labor jobs at the kind of wages that illegals will.
P.S. "irregardless" is not a word.

And I guess the contractors willing to hire them and pay them about half the pay that an American worker earns off the books without having to pay any employer federal taxes.
They are used as modern day slave labor. If employers had to pay them the same wages and benefits as US workers they wouldn't be so eager to hire them. Irregardless they do not deserve jobs over unemployed Americans when the unemployment rate is near 9%.

Malenko, your theory sounds good on the surface, but the fact is, American's aren't going to take back any jobs as long as the federal government will reward them for being lazy and pay for their homes, food, medical costs, etc. etc. for doing nothing. The jobs you are referring to weren't "stolen" from Americans. Americans are now just too lazy to do hard labor jobs such as construction, landscaping, etc. Immigrants see an oppurtunity to earn a living by doing something that lazy Americans think they are too good to do, and they take it.

Another example of what immigration has brought to Longview. More Criminals and Crime
Secure our Borders NOW!!! Quit just talking about it Pass national e-verify and like Romney says they will self deport when Americans take back our jobs.
