As Dr. Shova Shakhamuri of Longview was taking photos of wildflowers on a recent day trip, a companion turned the lens on her. Ashta Tuladhar Bhandari, a native of Nepal who shared this photo, writes, "On April 12th I was invited by Dr. Jampana and Dr. Shakhamuri on a drive along the wildflower trails. 'Blue Bonnets, the flower of Texas, are in bloom,' they said. I jumped to their invitation. At Brenham, we fell in love with the colorful fields. If humans feel so wonderful to just click photos of them. ...how would the nectar collecting insects feel?, I wondered."
