As with oral medications, though, you'll likely need to restrain your bird with a towel to inject his medication. One final thing to remember about medications: Don't stop giving them because your bird seems to feel better, at least not without clearing it with your veterinarian first. It's always important to give the medications for as long as they've been prescribed.
