Lacey Elizabeth McMullen and Jared Willie Capps were united in marriage on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 in Charleston, SC.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Kay Rogers of Spring, TX and Mr. Thomas McMullen of Houston, TX. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Karleen Pumphrey of Fort Madison, IA and the late Mr. Jess Pumphrey.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Drew E. Capps of Gladewater, TX. He is the grandson of Mrs. Shirley Whittington of Gladewater and the late Mr. Bob Whittington and Mrs. Bernie Capps of Longview, TX and the late Mr. Willie G. Capps.
Lacey is a 2004 graduate of Klein High School in Klein, TX. She earned a B.A. in Education from Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, NH and is currently employed as a Special Education teacher in the Houston ISD.
Jared is a 2003 graduate of Union Grove High School graduate where he was Salutatorian. He graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX where he was a member of the Corp of Cadets and received a B.A. in Political Science. Jared then attended the New Hampshire School of Law in Concord, NH where he received his Juris Doctor. He is currently a trial attorney with Klitsas, Vercher & Capps in Houston handling cases across Texas and the nation.
The couple honeymooned in Charleston, SC and reside in Houston.
