Ms. Nicole Kristina Burks and Mr. Robert Shih-Long Tung were united in marriage on Saturday, April 13th, 2019 at six oclock in the evening, at Bullock Texas State History Museum in Austin, Texas. The ceremony was officiated by David Sammons.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David McBride of Gladewater, Texas, and the late Mr. Russell Burks of Longview, Texas. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Plaschke of Hallsville, Texas, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Laughton Burks of Hallsville, Texas. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Tung of Houston, Texas. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Chiang of Houston, Texas, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Wen-Cheng Tung of Los Angeles, California.
The flower girls were Miss Ivy Lochman of San Marcos, Texas, niece of the bride, and Miss Eva Tao of San Jose, California, niece of the groom. The ring bearer was Mr. Jackson Burks of Gladewater, Texas, nephew of the bride.
The bride is a graduate of Gladewater High School in Gladewater, Texas. She graduated from The University of Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in Business as well as a Master in Business Administration, and now works at Dell in Austin. The groom is a graduate of Klein Forest High School in Spring, Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and now works at Dell in Austin.
Nicole and Robert reside in Austin, Texas and will honeymoon in Italy this Fall.
