June 26, 2015, at 10 a.m., on Galveston East Beach in a family ceremony, Peggy Yvonne Johnson and Dustin Scott Riggs became husband and wife.

Parents of the bride are Eddie and Becky Johnson. Grandparents are Glen and Lurene Brown, Jack Johnson of Daingerfield, and the late Peggy Denson Brown and the late Joyce Moreland Marr.

Parents of the groom are Sheila Riggs and Ronnie and Lilia Riggs of Liberty. Grandparents are Louise Pennington of Palestine and the late Thomas Pennington, and Naomi Riggs of Liberty and the late Jim Riggs.

Matron of honor was Martha Blalock, sister of the bride, and best man was Chris Riggs of Baltimore, MD, brother of the groom. Flower girl was Maya Riggs of Baltimore, and ring bearers were Brennan Blalock and Braden Blalock, nephews of the bride.

A luncheon reception was held at Fishermans Wharf restaurant.

The bride graduated from University of Central Florida, and the groom from University of Texas at Tyler.

The couple enjoyed a honeymoon cruise to the Eastern Caribbean.
