Kathleen Susan Clark and Ty Michael Johnson were joined together in Holy Matrimony on January 30, 2016 at 4 oclock in the afternoon in Carmel Valley, California. Officiated by The Reverend Jeff Rawn, the ceremony was held outside on the grounds of Holman Ranch overlooking the Santa Lucia Mountains. Vows were exchanged in front of a cedar cross that was built by the family and adorned with peonies, roses, ranunculus and cascading ferns. Immediately following the ceremony the brides parents hosted a seated dinner, reception and dance. On the eve of the wedding the grooms parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Wave Studios in Monterey, California.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Andy Clark of Prosper, the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold Snyder of Troup, and the late Mr. and Mrs. O.H. Clark of Marshall. The groom is the son of Mrs. Joanne Archer of Minneapolis and Mr. Rick Johnson of St. Paul Park, Minnesota. He is the grandson of Mrs. Dennis Johnson of Black River Falls, Wisconsin and the late Mr. Johnson and also Mrs. Joseph Walz of St. Paul, Minnesota and the late Mr. Walz.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, Kathleen wore an elegant strapless designer gown by Kenneth Poole. The sweetheart fit to flare lace wedding dress was adorned with crystals and hand beaded embroidery. The full-length gown flowed into a beautiful semi-cathedral length train and was complimented with a two-tier illusion veil. Kathleen carried a hand tied bouquet of white peonies, cream and white roses, and ferns. Incorporated into the bouquet was a sterling heart belonging to the brides late maternal grandmother.

Laura Upchurch of Longview, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Katie Blount of Austin, Tina Clark of Frisco, Mary Margaret Hart of Longview, Frances Jackson of Tyler, Amanda Koncewicz of Dallas, Caitlin Smith of Dallas, Jessica Lorfing of Saipan, Marie Matter of San Antonio, and Whitney McMahon of Washington D.C. Nieces of the bride, Macey Clark of Frisco and Lyla Upchurch of Longview were flower girls.

Michael Koncewicz of Dallas served as best man. Groomsmen were Matt Clark of Frisco, Andrew Duren of Maple Grove, Minnesota, Lee Engel of Roseville, Minnesota, Adam Gronlund of Blaine, Minnesota, Rob Kayode of Atlantic Beach, Florida, Derek Lafferty of Farmington, Minnesota, Nate Upchurch of Longview and Nick OConnell of Woodbury, Minnesota. Nephews of the bride, Austin and Garrett Clark of Frisco and Cameron and Jay Upchurch of Longview served as ushers. Joel Koncewicz of Dallas was the ring bearer.

The bride graduated from Baylor University and The University of Texas School of Nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse in the Congenital Heart Surgery Unit at Medical City Childrens Hospital in Dallas.

The groom graduated from University of Minnesota-Duluth and is employed with International Tool in Dallas as Business Development Manager.

After their honeymoon in Costa Rica, the couple resides in Dallas.
