Ashlee Renee Hurlburt and Nathan Hill Heath were married Saturday, July 2, 2016, at 7 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Longview. The Reverend Joe B. Collingsworth, Associate Pastor of Dogwood Church in Peachtree City, Georgia officiated the double ring ceremony. The reception followed at Pinecrest Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kippy Hopson of Huntington, Texas and Mr. Mark Hurlburt of Longview. Ashlee is the granddaughter of Mrs. Billye R. Hurlburt and the late Roderic Wright Hurlburt, Jr. of Kilgore and Mrs. Mary Jones Terry of Huntington and the late Gunis Eugene Jones, Sr. of Kilgore.
Nathan is the son of Mrs. Frieda Johnson Heath and Mr. James Neal Heath, Jr. of Longview. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jewel Edwin Maxwell of Gilmer, Texas and the late Mr. William B. Johnson of Longview and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Neal Heath, Sr. of Athens, Texas.
Ashlee was given in marriage by her parents and was escorted by her father. The bride wore an elegant, modern A line ballgown of ivory silk shantung designed by Matthew Christopher. The classic strapless sweetheart neckline and fitted corset descends to a flared, chapel length train. Two kinds of alecon lace appliqued over silk shantung bodice complete the dress. Her vail was of tulle trimmed in silk.
Katrina Marie Blain of San Augustine, Texas served as Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Chelsea Rae Aldridge of Houston, Kamie Bass Harrison of Dallas, Terri Lee Halter of Sherman and Starla Lynn Whitehurst of Longview. Miss Charlotte Claire Lydick of Fort Worth, niece of the groom, served as Junior Bridesmaid. Miss Emma Grace Heath of Longview, niece of the groom, served as flower girl.
Mr. William Campuzano, of Dallas, served as best man. Groomsmen were Dustin Thomas Welch of Longview, Eric Robinson of Longview, Christopher Trey McDaniel of Longview, Nicholas Andrew Chambers of Dallas and Christopher Lloyd Jones of Arlington, Texas.
Serving as ushers were Daniel Hunt Holdridge of Dallas, Blake Arnold Britain of Longview, Eliazar Rodrigues of Dallas and Tristan Ross Grimsley of Dallas. The grooms nephews served as junior attendants: Robert Woodson Lydick, Jr., Hunter James Zaino and Patrick Francis Zaino all of Ft. Worth. The ring bearer was Master Hudson Neal Heath, nephew of the groom, of Longview, Texas.
The music was provided by Mrs. Gwen Tomlin, organist, Mrs. Sherrye LeTourneau Coles , pianist and Mr. Jacob Pierce, trumpeter. Soloist was uncle of the groom, Mr. Kenneth Wayne Crews of Midlothian, Texas.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of Huntington High School, Huntington, Texas and attended Kilgore College. She is Administrative Assistant for the School of Nursing at the University of Texas, Longview University Center.
Nathan is a 2002 graduate of The Trinity School of Texas, Longview. He attended Kilgore College. He is the owner of Noisy Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Longview.
After a honeymoon to the California Coast the couple will live in Longview.
