The Checks in the Mail

When I heard that those who wish to remove the Park designation from the area at Hawkins and fourth street, with the proviso that the park will be rebuilt at another location sometime "later". I am reminded of the saying about checks in the mail. The obvious question is that if indeed the park will be moved, the next logical question is where? Will it be in the same general location? Will it contain the same or more amenities that the park has now? Will fees for use of the park be used to build it? Will the park still have the same name or will it be renamed?
How about this future developers? Give me answers to these questions, give me a plan on paper, give me the funds in escrow to ensure the project will be done. Then we can talk about removing the "park" from the place it is now. Until then, the check in the mail argument doesn't work for me.
