2017 is my 15th year with the Boys & Girls Club and to be honest I would not change a thing.  I began my career as a Summer Camp Director in May of 2002 and it truly does seem like yesterday.  I have seen club kids come and go during my time with the club and am reminded often by young adults, who now range in age from 21-33,  who come up to me and ask me if I remember them from 15 years ago. Of course, I remember, who they are; they were and still are the light of my life.  I cannot tell you how good it makes me feel for these kids to come up to me and say hi and tell me a story of what happened when they were a member of the Boys & Girls Club.  I'm sure there were times when I got on their nerves, but I know they always knew how much I loved and cared for them.  I believe this club and its staff has helped them realize their full potential and they've grown up to be responsible adults and parents.  I pray that I have made a huge difference in their lives and was a positive influence.  I know without a doubt they have made me a better person.  I love this club and I love these kids.
