Saturday night Dixieland daredevils on the North Loop 281

Now, I see how one set of poor, grieving East Texas parents lost their daughter on account of an IDIOT behind the wheel of a vehicle! More deaths can be expected, most likely at the hands of some white-knuckled, clutched-fist driver seated behind the steering wheel: some north side "Longview peep" DIXIELAND DAREDEVIL in his (or her) p.o.s., older model Ford Mustang OR their NEON-NIGHTMARE, OBNOXIOUSLY LOUD, HYDRAULICALLY MODIFIED and ELEVATED mini-MONSTER truck!
For over thirty minutes this past Saturday evening, I quietly observed the North Loop 281 from one end of Chik-Fil-A, to the other end of Chik-Fil-A, become a drag racing strip of IDIOT Ford Mustang drivers and neon nightmare, modified mini-monster truck drivers elevated to "Big King" status on the road, as if on a portable throne, with their obnoxiously loud and grande exhaust pipes, as any number of these Longview motorists-murderers-in-the making, sped on the Loop 281 in front of Chik-Fil-A and the Outback Steakhouse at 11PM.
While earlier on the opposite side of the Loop 281 at approximately 10:30PM this same Saturday night, a Spring Hill student teenager, drove (...if you can really call it "driving"...) a silver older model Jeep Grand Cherokee peeled across the parking lot near the banking center and the Ross Dress for Less Store, RACING IN THE PARKING LOT with a silver four door Ford car, both driving at dangerously high speeds, literally burning rubber, that created white smoke plumes from screeching tires due to the extreme accelerations, jerks stops and sharp turns at high speeds, by each of the drivers within that parking lot!
Where are the citations and arrests for these drivers? Where are those photos? Why not put their faces on some of the digital scoreboards and marquees about town?
The LPD needs to step it up with the arrests of these Longview north side Dixieland Daredevils behind the wheels of these neon-nightmare, modified mini-MONSTER trucks and strip them all of their driver's license, whoever they are!
Other onlookers who stood outside on the sidewalk, in front of the Wing Stop storefront, were in shock and awe, as they stood stock still, literally rattled from what they were witness to. And, as I warily walked inside from that parking lot to the sidewalk to order food, the comment was made that someone "could have been killed." And, they were right! Because someone already HAS been killed! And, more will follow. One of the fine young Latino men who made that comment was holding a baby boy in his arms, looking on at that silver Jeep Grand Cherokee and the other silver car in pursuit or racing one another across the store parking lot.
"Get er' done", LPD!
