Bob and Jeanne Mann of Longview, Texas, are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Marilyn Marguerite Mann, to William Blake Harris, son of Guy and Debbie Harris of Longview.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. Jack Matthewson Mann, Sr. of Longview and his wife, Glenda, Dr. True Sandlin Mann of Dallas, and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Stanley Smith of Longview. Marilyn graduated from Longview High School and is a 2013 graduate of Texas A&M University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Allied Health. In 2016, she will earn her Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Texas Womans University in Dallas, graduating summa cum laude. She plans to work as an occupational therapist in the Dallas-Fort Worth area with an interest in stroke rehabilitation.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Ms. Sandy Watts Schnetzer and the late Harry Watts of Longview, Ms. Mary Harris Broome and the late Eugene Sonny Broome of Longview, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Harris of Frost, Texas. Blake is a 2006 graduate of Pine Tree High School and graduated from Texas A&M University in 2013. Blake served in the United States Marine Corps reserves for 7 years while he earned his bachelors degree. He is currently employed as a Petroleum Landman at Case Energy Partners in Dallas, Texas.

The couple will wed Saturday, September 10, 2016, at Trinity Episcopal Church of Longview. After the wedding, the couple will reside in Dallas, Texas.
