LONGVIEW 37, NORTH MESQUITE 6: MESQUITE — Balanced scoring paved the way as the Longview Lobo JV stayed perfect with a 37-6 win over North Mesquite on Thursday.

The Lobos (4-0, 8-0) got scoring runs from Jaharrious Jones (3 yards), Shannon Jackson (20), Cameron Wilson (1) and Reginal Hutchins (24). Antonio Onofre was perfect on point afters.

Longview’s defense managed a safety and Dylan Davis picked a North Mesquite pass.

Longview hosts Tyler Lee on Thursday at Lobo Stadium.

WHITEHOUSE 18, PINE TREE 13: WHITEHOUSE — The Pine Tree JV dropped a close 18-13 decision to Whitehouse on Thursday evening.

Torrell Collins had a 55-yard TD reception from Cortez McPhail and Camden McEntire rushed for the other Pirate points.

McPhail passed for 110 yards, while Brody Delaurelle had a 30-yard catch and Gregory Issac rushed for 25 yards.

Defensively, Kameron Benefield netted six tackles and a fumble recovery. Isaiah Leary and Christian Contreraseach had five stops.


PINE TREE 24, WHITEHOUSE 12: WHITEHOUSE — Damarion Morris accounted for 3 TDs as the Pine Tree freshmen nabbed a 24-12 win over Whitehouse on Thursday evening. Morris also added three 2-point conversions and a had a pick on defense.

Jeremiah Blinks got the party started in the first period when he hauled in a 70 yard pass from Morris. Ethan Morgan added a 63-yard TD trot and Chris Kelley reeled in a 24-yard TD.

In addition to Morris’ interception, Cody Janner had a pass theft. Tylur Neal rean well in the victory, while Dallas Dixon and Connor Carrell shined on the defensive side of the ball.

Pine Tree improves to 2-5-1 overall and travels to Lindale on Thursday.

LONGVIEW (A) 42, NORTH MESQUITE 0: It was a night of total domination for the Longview freshman (A) team in a 42-0 whitewash of North Mesquite on Thursday at Lobo Stadium.

Jesse Fairchild had scoring runs of 2 and 49 yards along with a 2-point conversion to lead the charge. Isaiah Harris had TD tosses of 19 yards to Jaquaris Cooper and 23 yards to Victor Bush.

Kntraveion McFarland added an 11-yard TD tote and DeKaymon Taylor cashed in from 24 yards out. Harris, in addition to his two TD passes, tacked on a couple 2-point conversions.

Connor Cox blocked a punt in the win. Longview improves to 2-2 in district and 4-4 overall.

LONGVIEW (B) 36, NORTH MESQUITE 14: Malik Lewis pulled in TD passes of 29 and 26 yards from Rodney Moore as the Lobo ninth grade (B) squad notched an easy 36-14 win over North Mesquite on Thursday afternoon.

Jon’Khavin Bates tallied on a 3-yard run and added a 62-yard punt return as Longview improves to 4-0 in league action and 5-1 overall. Moore tacked on a 2-yard TD run, Johnathan Castro and Kingston Gordon contributed 2-point converts.
