WHITE OAK 48, BECKVILLE 17: WHITE OAK — The White Oak Ladynecks rolled to a 48-17 win over Beckville on Tuesday.

McKinna Chamness had seven points and six rebounds in the loss for Beckville. Raegan Greer finished with six points, and Baylie Seegers and Haley Straubie scored two points apiece. Miranda Mize pulled down five rebounds and added two steals, and Amber Harris finished with five rebounds.

TEAGUE 49, GLADEWATER 44: TEAGUE — The Gladewater Lady Bears dropped a 49-44 decision to Teague on Tuesday.

Halleigh Oliver scored 15 points, Victoria Perry 14 and Ebony Pipkin seven in the loss for the Lady Bears. Perry added eight rebounds, Oliver two assists and two steals, K.J. Hooper two assists and three steals, Pipkin six steals and Sydney Spurlock two assists and two steals.

TATUM SPLITS: EMORY — The Tatum Lady Eagles bounced back from an early 36-34 loss to Rains to knock off Henderson, 42-38, at the Rains Tournament.

Essence Allen recorded a triple-double and a double-double in the two games.

Allen scored 29 points and added 10 steals, 10 rebounds and three assists against Henderson. Kaylei Stroud finished with two points, four rebounds, five assists and four steals, Jakhia Thomas two points, four rebounds, three assists and three steals, Kayla Jones three points, six rebounds, two assists and three blocks, Trinity Edwards two points and two assists, Mariah West two points and Kerrigan Biggs two points.

In the loss to Rains, Allen scored 18 points, pulled down 10 rebounds and added a couple of steals and two assists. Stroud had eight points and three rebounds, Thomas four points, four rebounds and four assists, RaDanzel Jones two rebounds, Edwards three points, two rebounds, two steals and four assists and Jones five rebounds and seven steals.

JEFFERSON 50, HARMONY 47: JEFFERSON — Jefferson opened up a big lead early and held on late, edging the Harmony Lady Eagles, 50-47.

Jaden Carter had 11 points, Mackenzie Jordna 10, Jakayla Rusk and Nia Garrett nine apiece, Tierrani Johnson seven and Makiya Young four.

Jefferson led 41-26 heading to the fourth quarter.

Dacey Dawson led Harmony with 10 points. Jenci Seahorn added eight, Kaylee Clemens seven, Kinzee Settles six, Macey Russell five, while Raylee Willie and Madi Rhame had four each.

HAWKINS 61, SABINE 53: HAWKINS — Logan Jaco tossed in 22 points, Alyssa Eddington was close behind with 21 and the Hawkins Lady Hawks notched a 61-53 win over Sabine.

Jaco had seven rebounds, Eddington five rebounds, five steals and two assists, Lynli Dacus seven points, 10 rebounds, four steals and two assists, Makena Warren six points, seven rebounds and three assists, Maraina Clark four points and Tenley Conde one point.

Sabine was paced in a losing effort by Mikinzi Cantrell’s 13 points and Mercedes Willett’s 12 points. Blair Kaufman netted nine points, Halyn McKenzie eight points, Maddie Furrh five points, Ally Gresham three points, Callie Sparks two points and Mallory Furrh one point.

Mikinzi Cantrell had 13 points and Mercedes Willett 12 in the loss for Sabine.

PAUL PEWITT 59, DETROIT 37: BOGATA — Mya Heath and Sissy Jones combined for 37 points, 10 rebounds and eight steals, keeping Paul Pewitt unbeaten on the year (9-0) with a 59-37 win over Detroit at the Rivercrest Classic.

Heath had 19 points, four rebounds and three steals, Jones 18 points, six rebounds and five steals and Calli Osmon eight points and four rebounds.

The Lady Brahmas will host North Hopkins on Tuesday.

LINDALE 47, KILGORE 37: LINDALE — The Lindale Lady Eagles were 10 points better than the Kilgore Lady Dogs Tuesday night in a 47-37 victory.

Kilgore got 12 points and eight boards in a losing cause from Miah Thimas. Jade Abercrombie also netted a dozen points and eight caroms for the Lady Dogs.

MCLEOD 51, AVINGER 13: MCLEOD — Kaitlyn Cross bucketed 13 points as the McLeod Lady Horns gored the Avinger Lady Indians in a 51-13 pasting Tuesday night.

McLeod posted 12 points in each of the first two frames and took a 24-6 lead to the half. They grew the margin to 37-10 after three.

Avinger was led in the loss by Harley Moore’s nine points.

HUGHES SPRINGS 50, MAUD 27: MAUD — Rylie Tenbrook’s 20-point effort propelled the Hughes Springs Lady Mustangs to a 50-27 win over the Maud Lady Cardinals.

Hughes Springs used a 16-3 third quarter run to pull away after a 22-12 halftime advantage.

Adriana Kennedy pitched in 15 points, Sanariya Davis six, Amaunni Craver four, Kyleigh Wilson three and Kylie McMillion two.

GILMER 56, LIBERTY-EYLAU 49: GILMER — Ayana Choyce poured in 20 points and snatched nine boards as the Gilmer Lady Buckeyes were 56-49 winners over the Liberty-Eylau Lady Leopards.

Choyce was just one of three Lady Buckeyes in twin figures. Madyson Tate netted 12 points, while Haylee Jordan pitched in 11 points to go with her 17 rebounds.

RAINS 47, PARIS 37: EMORY -- The Rains LadyCats won the championship and John Tyler captured third place on Tuesday during the final day of the Sixth Annual Thanksgiving Tip-Off Girls Basketball Classic at Rains High School.

Rains, led by tournament Most Valuable Player Leo Terry, defeated Paris, 47-37, in the championship game.

TATUM DROPS 2: EMORY — The Tatum Lady Eagles opened the season with losses to Class 5A John Tyler (38-28) and Class 4A Paris (61-34) on Monday.

Against John Tyler, Essence Allen finished with nine points, six rebounds and three steals. Yahnya Acevedo added two rebounds, Kayla Jones five rebounds, Trinity Edwards five points, two assists and three steals, Jakhia Thomas two points and three assists, Kaylei Stroud three points, three rebounds and two steals, RaDanzel Jones seven points and two rebounds, Aaliyah Centers one block, Mariah West an assist and a steal and Kerrigan Biggs three rebounds.

Allen had 11 points, 17 rebounds and three assists against Paris. Acevedo chipped in with four points, Jones six points and three rebounds, Edwards two points and two steals, Thomas six points, three steals and two assists, Stroud five points, eight rebounds and two assists, West one rebound and one steal, Centers and Biggs a steal apiece and Aaliyah Smith one rebound.

MCLEOD 37, HUGHES SPRINGS 24: HUGHES SPRINGS — Gracie Lance scored 14 points and pulled down nine rebounds, Sibbie Comer added five points and eight boards and McLeod earned a 37-24 win over Hughes Springs.

Kyleigh Wilson scored 13 points in the loss for Hughes Springs.
