BoysPEARCE 2, LONGVIEW 2: FORNEY — Richardson Pearce rallied from a two-goal deficit to force a penalty kick shootout, and took the first-place trophy with a win over the Longview Lobos at the Forney Tournament.

Four minutes into the second half Kelsey put the Lobos on top 2-0 with an assist from sophomore Stephen Gaskin, but late pressure from Pearce saw the Lobos give up a penalty and then a wild cross caught the wind and sailed over the outstretched arms of Lobo keeper Erik Torrez to tie it at 2-2.

The shootout went to the 10th round, with Pearce coming out on top.
