WASKOM 3, W. RUSK 1: WASKOM — Alaina Dyson knocked down 20 kills to go along with 12 assists and seven blocks as the Waskom Lady Wildcats rallied for a 22-25, 25-17, 26-24, 25-13 win over West Rusk in District 16-3A action.

LaDaija Thomas added 14 digs, nine kills and two blocks, Anna Claire Reeves six aces, six kills and 11 assists, Ellen Nuner three b locks and two kills, Jaynai Miles 14 digs and two kills, Macie Moody seven service points and Anali Pedraza six digs.

ARP 3, QUITMAN 0: ARP — The Arp Lady Tigers, led by Kyla Horton’s 26 assists and Maddie Birdsong’s 12 kills, earned a 25-10, 25-17, 25-12 sweep over Quitman in District 16-3A play.

Horton added six digs and three aces for Arp. Birdsong had four digs, Cyla Nelson five kills and two digs, Kyleigh Pawlik two kill and two digs, Aubrey Poole one kill, one block and one dig, Kayleigh Shuttlesworth eight digs, Sydne’ Garrett three kills and four blocks, Abby Nichols four aces, four kills and 11 digs and Addison Carpenter a team-leading 17 digs.

TROUP 3, JEFFERSON 0: JEFFERSON — In District 16-3A action, Bailey Blanton knocked down 20 kills and Tara Wells had 20 assists as Troup swept past Jefferson 25-17, 25-14, 25-13.

Blanton also had two aces and two digs for Troup. Chloie Haugeberg had four kills, Emory Cover and Wells two apiece and Qhenja Jordan five. Haugeberg added six aces and Jordan four and Haugeberg three digs, Karsyn Williamson eight and Sarah Neal two.

J. BOWIE 3, O. CITY 1: ORE CITY — In District 18-2A action, James Bowie earned a 25-22, 25-16, 17-25, 25-21 win over Ore City.

Josie Reynolds served up five aces and added 14 kills, 11 assists, four blocks and five digs in the loss for Ore City. Susi Lara had two assists and 14 digs, Stormy Redmond four digs, Brynn Richardson two aces, 13 kills, 10 assists, six solo blocks and four digs, Tori Cummins two aces and eight digs, Kayla Peckham two kills, two assists and five digs, Rennie Harris three kills, three blocks and two digs and Brooke Byrd three digs.
