Historic Longview Farmers Market

Lisa Crites and her daughter Riley, 11, make a purchase in April 2018 from Stuart Davis at the Perkins Farms booth at the Historic Longview Farmers Market. The market is celebrating its 10th anniversary.

Music will be in the air Saturdays at the Historic Longview Farmers Market, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary.

Dick Chapman will perform June 22, while Keith Rea will be featured June 29. The market is from 7:10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturdays in the city parking lot at High and Cotton streets in downtown Longview.

The market recently broke its attendance records when close to 900 people attended. The market includes more than three dozen vendors, selling everything from traditional fruits and vegetables to free range, non-GMO eggs and beef, lamb, chicken and pork. Handmade products such as wood bowls and soy candles also are for sale, and the Artists Tent features two local artists each Saturday.

Area musicians interested in performing at the farmers market should contact Ellen Gordon at 903-720-1398. Visit the Market at www.historiclongviewfarmersmarket.com or find the market on Facebook.
