This morning's balloon race over; more events this evening

<strong>Update:</strong> Balloon pilots this morning have thrust their flags toward the targets and landed. There will be more events this evening, including the balloon glow. Balloonists participating in the first competition of this weekend's Great Texas Balloon Race are soaring skyward. They have received the locations of their targets, and those are good spots for fans to see the action. Here's a look:

<span class="tweet_text"><strong>Target 1:</strong> Near H.G. Mosley and Loop 281 by the old skateplex.</span>

<span class="tweet_text"><strong>Target 2:</strong> Hawkins Parkway between St. Andrews Drive and Grace Creek.</span>

<span class="tweet_text"><strong>Ta</strong><strong>rget 3:</strong> On the west side of North Judson Road at Hill Street.</span>
